Beginners welcome. All Are Welcome…
It’s a Poltergeist reference in case you missed it.
Actually Poltergeist 2. (The one with the indian)
This is a video I made to address a very common issue that no one seems to teach. And that is how to do the very basic action of rendering out your files to the folder you want them to be in, and in the format you need.
Veteran 3D artists would never render directly to a movie file. (EVER). But beginners do it all the time. (And have shitloads of errors and problems. (Which is why more advanced folks don’t do that.)
So this video shows my creating a simple animation. Not super complex, but it still will teach a few handy tricks for making animations. And then the rendering out, both as still frames. And those go to a place where you can actually FIND them. And then turning them into a movie file.
All of this is done entirely in blender and need no special settings or plug ins. (I guess in Blender they’re called Add-ons. (subtle difference))
Anyway, here’s the video. And underneath it should be a link to download the .blend file I actually made in the video.
This could be good if you just want to try out the saving and converting without actually following along and manually recreating my animation.
Enjoy…
The .blend file is HERE.
As always, if you like this sort of thing, lease comment. Ask questions. Or go to the youtube page and subscribe there. If you’re lucky there might even be an email sign up form somewhere in the side bar over there—>
If not, you’re too soon.
You can also keep an eye out for a patreon page that should be going live sometime before the end of 2021. It’s still a ways out, but when it comes, it’s gonna be awesome.
